You will be seen by our assigned physician on duty or by the physician you requested within the time of their regular clinic hours. Although consultants may see you in your room during their rounds, most will request that you be brought to their clinics. There are no special clinic hours reserved by consultants for ECU patients alone.
You will be scheduled for consultation along with other out-patients seeking consultation on that particular day. As such, there will some waiting time per consultant as you wait for your turn to be seen . A nursing aide will accompany you to the Consultants’ clinics. In case a consultant is unable to see you, a clinic visit may be scheduled on an out-patient basis after your discharge.
