Electrocardiogram (ECG / EKG)
is a test that checks for problems with the electrical activity of your heart.
24 hours Holter Monitor
Is a machine that continuously records the heart's rhythms for 24 hours.
Electroencephalogram (EEG)
Is a test used to detect abnormalities related to electrical activity of the brain. This procedure tracks and records brain wave patterns.
Treadmill Exercise Test ( TET)
The patient is brought to the exercise laboratory where the heart rate and blood pressure are recorded at rest. Sticky electrodes are attached to the chest, shoulders and hips and connected to the EKG portion of the Stress test machine.
Echocardiogram ( Echo Scan, 2D – Echo & 2D Echo Doppler)
This test gives good information about the structure and function of the heart.
Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram
Is a test that combines an ultrasound study of the heart with a drug-induced stress test. The test allows doctors to learn how the heart functions when it is made to work harder.
Stress Echocardiogram
Is performed to evaluate the function of your heart, mainly your left ventricle (main pumping chamber) when the heart is under stress.
Trans – Esophageal Echocardiogram
A special ultrasound test that uses sound waves to take pictures of the heart. This type of echo can take clearer pictures of the heart than regular ultrasound especially in older children and adults. It is also used during heart operations to help guide the surgeon. There is no known risk from ultrasound exposure and no radiation exposure is involved.
Carotid Duplex Scan
Is a technique to take a picture of these arteries using sound waves (ultrasound). A sound-wave transducer is placed gently on the neck.
Peripheral Vascular Studies ( Arterial / Venous Upper & Lower Extremities)
Abnormal Aorta Duplex Scan
Renal Duplex Scan
Transcranial Scan
Thallium Stress Test
