Our Vision

The Operating Room is a place where surgical procedures are performed such as diagnostic, therapeutic, or palliative is accomplished. It aims to serve and provide the best possible assistance in patient care before, during and immediately after surgical intervention.

Our Mission

As a special area in Nursing, the Operating Room embraces to:

1. Give effective nursing care which meets the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of the individual patient.
2. Promote cooperative planning and coordination of functions among nursing staff, surgical staff and anesthesia staff in order to improve the over all care of the patient.
3. Provide high quality "team" support to the surgeons during an operative procedure.
4. Promote and support all policies of the hospital.
5. Operate the department economically.
6. Promote clinical instruction for the educational program which will further enhance the individual growth personnel.

The Emergency Room is staffed by resident physicians trained in the different fields of medicine - Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics-Gynecology, Pediatrics and Ophthalmology. Post graduate interns rotating in the different clinical departments will complement the ER medical staff.
